Some years ago, in some magazine now gone from my memory,
I saw a picture of a lovely, elegant Victorian Christmas Boot.
Life got in the way and I lost that magazine, but have never forgotten it.
It even had lacings for the boot, was cream and gold with darker trimmings
I think. I would really love to have even the picture, I could work with that.
This forum has so many talented people on it that I'm sure someone has
seen it and possibly remembered it.

Here is a link to martha stewart's site. She had some in a white woolen with a golden cuff at one time in her magazine.

Thanks again.

These are all neat too. I intend to make the patterns and decrease the size so that they would wind up as tree ornaments.
My Woman's club has an Ornament exchange next week so I'll make one or more like this. We try for really different ornaments each year, and some of them travel and bring back things we simply do not find in the US.
Thanks for taking the time to send these.
