Thank you for all the kind words. I first started making dolls 3 or 4 years ago. My first attempts were not very good but I have improved with practice. The fingers are very tricky, especially really small ones. You need special turning rods to do them.I live in the UK and have to send to the US for doll making materials .I'm self taught and although I have bought several books, the one I would recommend is Cloth dolls for textile artists by Ray Slater.The pattern for this latest doll is really a modified version of the many patterns I have tried . Increasing and decreasing ,etc. I've just picked out bits that I like.Hope this helps.
