Default New family member!

Sew excited!! We are adopting an adorable Westie named Mickey in a couple weeks. His mom had a massive stroke last week and he needs a new home. He's in doggie "boot camp" right now, going through the paces to make sure he's acceptable to be adopted out. Then we will take Tucker to meet him and get a paw of approval and hopefully bring him home. We have always been a 1 dog family so this will be a new experience for us, but most people I have talked to say it's actually easier when there's more than one. I'll keep you posted on our adventures.

I've always had 2 dogs, they run in packs, most need the added companionship. And it's fun having two anyway. Keep us posted on how it works out!

It is easier with two. They keep each other company.

We had 3 at one time. Now we have 2. It takes awhile for them to get used to each other. They are together all the time now.

What a cute dog.

He is very cute. My SIL and her family have a Westie and they love her and are looking for a second too.

Good luck and hope that Tucker gives the approval. Some times it takes a few days before you will know if they will accept each other, but if they have no problems with other dogs it should work out. God bless you for opening up your heart to this little cutie and you will never be sorry.
