Until one becomes a grandparent you can NEVER know how that feels! It is so different.... I think I cried for the first 24 hrs. after my first was born.

This is so true!! Congratulations on the new grandchild! Enjoy every minute! They are just precious.

It is an 8 hour drive to my DD. I hope I can see him at least once a month. The drive is easy until I have to drive in Manhattan. Getting to the Holland Tunnels is busy, but, it will be so worth it just to hold him.

Awww! Congratulations! I will be blessed with my first grandbaby (a girl) at some point this month. I am like a kid the night before Christmas....I can't wait!!!!
