Default a new and improved attachment for our Kitchen Aid mixers

I posted this at the kitchen aid mixer thread but got this in a bit late for most of you to see. I just ordered this last night and from what I read it looks like a pretty good tool to have. Wondering if anyone has this.

Don't have one but have often wondered if it would be a good investment as my "normal" beater doesn't always get all the batter mixed up.

It is wonderful. I've had mine for several years and it really does scrape the side of the bowl. You will enjoy it

I had just bought one at Penny's but its the wrong size. I love the scrapers on the sides. the one I got doesn't go down far enough so I'm hoping they'll have the one that I need when I go back.

I have my mixer over 20 yrs. Still works great Didn't know they came out with a new attachment. Have the old one & just used to scrape down the sides with a spatula. The one I loved the most was the dough hook. Made a lot of yeast dough with it for bread & pizzas.

Just make sure it's Kitchenaid quality as some attachments appear to be made by KA but are NOT. I don't believe this one is made by KA as it says in the description "Metro" to fit KA mixers. It may be just fine but buyer beware. I have one similar to this one (made by KA) but the extension is only on one side & it scrapes the sides of the bowl. Have only used it a couple of times but works just fine.

I have that but haven't used it yet. With all the baking I've been doing, I better try it out.

I wonder if they are available for the fixed head mixers? It looks like a good attachment, I do find that I need to use a spatula to get to the bottom of the bowl, this should fix that.
