I had a 10lb 9oz. baby 30 years ago.....the size of a 3 month old.....I had her natural. She was alot easier to take care of when we got home from hospital. Slept thru night since her tummy was larger and could hold more.
Today......shes a petite, slim little girl......but big babies run in our families (both sides) but not no 13 lber!

I realize that I may be hijacking this thread but it relates. LOL! I am a twin. When we were born my mom, who is 5'1" was 54 inches around. My brother weighed 7.5 and I weighed 7.2. We were 4 weeks early. My poor mom.

better add some borders to that baby quilt, otherwise it won't cover that whopper!

My Mom weighed 15 lb when she was born. Had a sister who weighed 13. Mom is 90 & sisters were older then her. I have 6 children & they all weighed 9 & 10 lb. One son was 17 in. around head & chest. I had all natural and of course a hysterectomy by the time I was 30. 5 of the kids (3 girls) are all small & the 2 boys are average. The one that was 17" is still a big boy. Not fat just built lg. I was only 5'2" and weighed 110 to 115 when I had the kids. Oh what I wouldn't do to be that size now.

Hurts me just thinking about it and what about carrying that around before it was born! He/she is the size my kids were when they were 3 months old! I like the reply that says "better add another border"....cute!
