No cell phone involved..no cable provider or Bell supplying my land line. I'm not in a panic..just reporting a new spam. Reporting to any authority would be a waste of time...they don't follow up spam reports. And that is what the reverse phone # search described it as???with others reporting as such. This is just a notice to Apple iPad, iPod, iPhone owners to be aware that such pop ups are spam and the Apple support # is not a 1-866 number. Appreciate all the advice re this post.

according to Google search, area code 866 is a toll free number so you don't pay, they do.

I got a pop up the other day with an android symbol on my kindle, saying that I had gotten a virus on my phone from looking at porn sites. Well, needless to say, I have not been on any porn sites. Yuck! It wanted me to click here to.take care of it. Not a chance!. We have to be very careful.

I let my answering machine take calls from people I don't know. If you answer your phone they know it is a working phone and will call again.

I have had a phone callin UK, where I was told I had an insurance claim against me, by a my Green and they had a large fill on me. I was supposed the have been driving a vauxhall corsa in 2012 when the problem and case began.
I have never owned a vauxhall corsa and in 2012 I was driving very little as t had a bone removed from my wrist in beginning of year and TVT operation later end. I was driving a Mercedes Benz. A class when I could which was very little.
what should I do about this?
