I can't believe it I got a used Brother 600 pr embroidery machine! It has six needles so I don't have to keep changing threads. I kept stalking them on ebay and googling them but they remained out of reach. I couldn't afford more than $5000 and even that was a stretch. But I went to google "just one last time:" and found one in Syracuse NY on Craigslist! He wanted $4000 but I offered $3500 and he took it. WOO HOO It was a six hour drive but off we went. He threw in $300 worth of threads, extra hoops, stabilizers and a table. Whatta guy. Last night I did a bunch of redwork blocks for a quilt for Mom. She'll love it, so 30's. Well that's my Happy Dance announcement.

Sounds like fun. I think it would be neat to have a machine like that.

Thanks for all the good wishes...I have been playing with "Fulton" and we get along well. I still have much to learn but it is user friendly and I expect lots of fun. It has a bigger hoop capacity, loads up six colors at once, cuts and goes from color to color without me touching anything. It takes memsory cards, floopies and hooks up to my computer. The new ones don't take floppies but I have tons and I wanted that. Now all Ihave to do is get organized again after moving him into the sewing room.

Very nice present to yourself, maybe I should start looking there too! Doesn't it feel great when you want something and you find it at a great deal.
