Since I'm convinced that at least 90% of us are also owned by cats, I thought I'd create a topic where we could post our feline quilting buddies.

This is our newest addition-- Gryphon. He's about 7 months old. Still plenty of kitten left in him. Unlike my other two, he's not at all intimidated by the sewing machine. And he basically believes that EVERYTHING (and everyone) exists for the sole purpose of his amusement.

Looking forward to seeing your cat(s) -- and to keep it on topic-- the photos should be related somehow to your quilting.

p.s. and yes, I *am* sewing on a 20+year old portable Singer, bought for me by my mom at Costco. ;-) Might have been the best gift she gave me (other than her great looks)! xox

Gryphon is a doll. What fun he would be when you are trying to sew. LOL

What cute kitties you have :!:

My first attempt at attatching a pic - Lucy & Daisy when they were kittens "helping" me sort buttons that they knocked over.

Love the pics but my foot warmer is a standard doxie! She insists on laying on my feet as I am sewing my quilts!

See yall call it "Quilt inspections"
I call it HOSTAGE NEGOTIATIONS!

I want the quilt, they have the quilt. She sits right where I am sewing and as soon as I leave. She does NOT move willingly. Just sits theres and purrs the loudest purr, can hear it in the next room. Her way of saying "it's mine now"
She is sitting on a needle in this and she doesn't care. Oh well, I needed a break anyway. She can keep it warm for an hour or so while I cook dinner.

This is Patches, we call her Tubs, or Big momma. She is 1 of 5
