Default Not Quilted but made with fabric

Been in a funk for a couple months again and can't seem to get back into quilting. My quilt on the frame is for my spare bed too. Finally a quilt for me instead of for someone else and I'm halfway through too. For whatever reason my machine decided to go haywire halfway thru the pattern but luckily I only had to rip out the bad half but ever since then, I can't seem to get interested in getting back to finish it. So much for my hope to get all my quilts finished this year the way I'm going.

Anyway, decided to make some pillow cushion covers for my wicker chairs as they're pretty faded now after a couple years out in the sun here in Iowa. I have some outside fabric on a bolt in a nice bright red with flowers on it so decided to go for it. So far I'm made all my exterior cushion covers using outdoor fabric and I'm still trying to use up what I have in my stash. So brought one pillow in for a pattern and went to work. Even made a scarf using the cutoffs from the pillows too so no waste or not very much.

Here are the before and after photos. Not perfect but a lot better than those faded pillows. Again, not a quilting project as my other cushions as I wanted to get it done yesterday as it was pretty hot outside.

Cute! And inspiring! And the table topper? Great idea! Now my cushions need replacing! I also use outdoor fabric for jelly roll rugs. That would be a great complement to your seating area!

Great idea, I should do this, I have some cushions that are faded and I have tons of fabric I could use to recover them. Great project for this rainy day!
