Ahhhhhh, so glad I live in the south! We get cold, but not THAT cold! You surely did stack it pretty! But oh, I know you are tired! Blessings!

I look forward to helping DH with wood. It's great exercise. I also enjoy the heat our wood stove puts out. Great for drying clothes, keeping warm, and cooking on.

Looks like lots of hard work but a what a feeling of accomplishment!!! My hubby's parents had a woodburning stove when I first met him and I remember their house was nice and toasty in the winter.

Looks like you live in the country - nice!

This stack is only a six week supply? Oh, my, you have more back work to do? It should be cozy this winter when you are ready to quilt.

Love your stacking project. Neat stacking, sort of looks like a quilt design to me. We used to cut, split and stack about 20 cords of wood a year before I bought a pellet stove.

Our firewood was just delivered last week, so we are ready. Nothing like a nice fire in the fireplace!

love the wood heat, it is just oh so nice and cozy!!! My dh is going to install a similar stove soon, can't wait!! we have a heatalator now but it does not do as well as this will do!! congrats on your start of wood, I would get a man to do this for me, I am such a wimp when it comes to that type of work!! lol
