Children are so funny in their literalness (is that even a word?) and honesty. Your DGD obviously feels very close and comfortable with her Nana.

Well, Saturday night, I was washing my face and putting on my night time products. I let her put on the moisturizer and as I was putting on my "anti-aging" creme, she asked if she could put that on, too. I explained that it was for "grandmas" to help them look younger and she didn't need any. She replied that "yes, she was 5 and didn't need to be 2 again"! LOL That was funny but what she did next was even funnier.

As I was rubbing the creme in, she was just staring at me intently and THEN SHE SAID: "NANA, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE IT TO WORK?"

Thank you, you have no idea how much I needed this laugh! I've reached the point where I'm frequently startled when I see my mom (long gone, rest her soul) out of the corner of my eye and have to face the fact that it was a mirror.
