what a quilter does when summer comes along and she has lost the sewing bug.

doing a test run on how to lay new flooring

my floor inspector

the first part passed inspection so now can star laying flooring

Can't wait to c it done. We did same thing in front room last year. We r saving to do the next rrom now, its huge and will be awhile.

get some knee pads hon and don' t forget to leave a tad room around the wall edge of the room for expansion and contraction. looking good!!

Of course, you've been leaving 1/4 on the edges! Your quilting brain thinks you are creating a seam allowance.

You'll love it when you're done. I put one in my dining room and hallway about 6 years ago. The cloud of profanity is still lingering as a cloud over my house. Suffice it to say I was extremely pleased when the job was done.

Are they warm floors & are they hard to keep clean? My hubby wants them in our dining room-front living room but we live in a modular & I'm afraid they would be cold to walk on.
