Default OK enough Snow already

It has been snowing for almost 40 hours straight and it doesn't look like it is going to quit any way soon. All roads are closed in and out of Roswell...so I suppose you could say we are snowed in!! We had 11 inches at 7:30 this morning so we probaly have at least another inch or more now.

Merry Christmas to Everyone and many Blessing for a Wonderful New Year!!

It is pretty in the pictures but you are getting quite a bit in your area. Hope you have everything you need in the house for a safe and warm holiday season.

Brrrrrrr.......it is beautiful and I do miss the snow. It has been unusually cold in our area and the driest December in history.Coos Bay, Oregon

I didn't think NM would get snow.....is that quite unusual? West Texas is getting snow, also. weird

Send some my way, please!

I think the unusual part about the Roswell area getting snow is the precipitation. Elevation is about 3500, but precip is normally pretty low - the average is less than an inch per month during the winter months. Maybe it's the aliens?? (you knew SOMEONE was going to say it, lol. Ducking the stuff y'all are throwing at me now!)

my backyard got more snow than the front. must have blown some off the roof. i can't walk in it with my snow boots. it's higher than they are. I took my mama cat out and she would scratch snow with one paw and then the other. then decided to walk near the house to explore. I had to dig snow away from one window well. Hubby can't help anymore so i had only put some large pieces of wood over the two North windows. I love snow! kidding, reallly!!!!!
