How do old topics show back on on the Main Forum page? There's one there now from 2010. I'm guessing someone does a google search for the problem or question? Just curious.

I think there are a lot of people who find a topic and respond with out even looking at the original post date. I have started my morning perusal of the forum to find that there is an entire page of old posts that someone posted to. They probably had no idea they were responding to such an old post. Yes, you can Google specific questions using this board as the parameter for the response. I think it’s a thing on all forums unless they lock the post after a certain time.

If someone comments on an old post, it comes back up.

I found a group of quilters from WAYYYY, back that were working on the Farmer's Wife quilt back then and still working on it now. Those posts got some folks re-inspired and they are back at finishing up the FW quilt. Count me in as one of them! So posting to old thread can be a good thing too.
