The Olympic Torch went past my house this afternoon.
Want to see?

I don't know one person who lives in Whistler who is happy the Olympics are coming. I guess it's BC's bad timing to invest in such an expensive party just as the recession hit.

Neat! My students read an article about this in their Scholastic News!! It said there were 14,000 runners each running 1/4 mile. I'll show them this photo! Thanks!

Oh gosh it looks cold, but oh so cool to see the torch. Before the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City the torch passed by my dentist office while I was there. Everyone stopped what they were doing and went out to watch it go by. It's very exciting!
