watching the tv coverage of the storms this morning, my heart goes out to all down there. I pray we don't see any more this year. The death toll is staggering and the images are terrifying.

Death toll as of now is at 194. Just horroble.
Glad there are three threads started on this subject.
I checked in to see how everyone is before heading off to school. We were under a tornado watch last night. Had horrible quiet, then sheets of rain, lightening rolling across the sky half the night and thunder of course. Funny thing was you could hear teh wind but could not see trees moving. Strange. Told my daughter if I yelled"RUN" she was to head for the root cellar without grabbing anything. Thank God we did not have to. We live in an old double wide with an addition. I would not trust it to a storm of that magnitude.
Stay safe everyone and I will check in later.

 I never thought of that, but it sure is a possibility.

I'm wishing no more death and destruction happens to anyone!
I hadn't thought of that either!!!!!

I am so sorry for the loss of so many lives. I pray for the families who must deal with this terrible news of loved ones.

NOW is the time to check into Flylady and get the emergency evacuation chart to fill out. And put it where everyone knows and can reach it easily.

Like she said, when someone says RUN, you run and if you can grab something on the way, that's good. Even better to have all this in the place of safety. Just grab kids, and if there's time, pets, but do it NOW.

Prayers for all who are injured and for their safety.
