Rhonda K...Thank You for the link about stabilizers, it will be my reading when I take a break. I've heard of the brand but have no experience with it.

There are two good episodes of Sewing With Nancy about machine embroidery. They are in season 2600 on pbs.org. They are an excellent resource.
