Yes the Rugby is the phone my brother has, go to youtube and type in samsung rugby. There are several videos of users doing really bad things to their phones and they still work no problem!

I told my husband & kids years ago that I didn't empty pockets, so they should be sure to take out things they didn't want washed. Of course, if I find money in the washer after a load, it's mine! Anyway, my husband left his cell phone in his jeans one day and I happened to notice, so I warned him about it. He got his phone out and just made a face at me. Only a couple of days later, he washed a load of jeans himself and guess what? He forgot the phone in the pocket. He only realized it when he heard the bumpity-bump in the dryer. But he couldn't say a word, because he had been warned. Had to go out and buy a new phone because that one wouldn't work at all any more. Man, it was sweet!

Before you throw it away. Put it in a plastic bag with lots of rice. Check it in 2 days.

My secretary does this all the time! Her's has been in the washer, pool and toilet. Don't ask.
