Are you getting ready to plant your garden?

I can't wait until it gets a little warmer, will have a small garden this year. I love tomatoes, (red, yellow and cherry tomatoes) my favorites. Not sure what else we will plant this year!

Also will be working on my flower garden.

I want so badly to get a garden in this year!! It needs a little help. I need to get DH to clean up some trash in the area, pull out the old pieces of wood that have rotted and make new raised beds. I think the whole area need to be roto-tilled but I don't have one.
I hope to plant tomatoes (roma, cherry and something big for DH's burgers) Peppers, yellow, red & orange, Jalepeno's , Aneheims, Basil, Cilantro. Maybe some green beans and some other herbs. I havn't had a garden the last 2 years and I really want one this year!!!

My husband took the landscape timbers and hooked them together with long metal bolts and we have them around the house and driveway. Looks great! Also he put the lights around them and on a timer.

I will take a photo when the flowers start blooming as I have lots of perennials and plant annuals.

I SO want a garden this year. Tried to grow Summer Squash last summer here in NH and it never grew. Soil is terrible. This summer I am planning on a raised bed and fill it w/ manure and soil. I want fresh tomatoes and squash.

Nope, I don't like gardening. I put a few flowers in a couple of huge urns at the foot of the steps. DD takes care of them. All I do is deadhead them once in awhile.

We plant both vegtables and flowers but will be a while yet. Still too cold here in New York.
