Me too but ya gotta admit, there's just nothing much funnier than a fat lady falling. When I think of how I must have looked I'm still laughing.

I'm glad you didn't get hurt. I always tell my sister that I will help her up as soon as I get done laughing. She doesn't find me funny.

Sorry to hear that you fell and showed the neighborhood your woohoo...
I mis-stepped yesterday morning on the ice and ended up turning my ankle. Today, it is all pretty colors and swollen...so, walking very gingerly on it.

I tripped on a chunk of protruding ice and fell on the smooth ice while walking my dogs tonight. No harm done, I think, but I'll be stiff in the morning. My knees are so arthritic and I have osteoporosis, so I have a fear of falling. That's twice in two weeks.

Sorry to hear about your fall. An ortho boot can't be much fun in this weather.

We attach those ice cleats to our shoes or boots at this time of year with the same matter-of-factness as putting on a pair of boots when it snows. The only way to deal with icy walkways. I've fallen, too, and it only gets harder over the years.

Falling is no fun... I am glad you were not hurt. I fell last week and Dear Hubby had to call a neighbor to help get me up. My didnity was all that was hurt this time, but~~~ I have had broken arms and legs from falling. And, fat ladies falling are not funny in my book. Take care. God bless.
