Being part Native American I want to share with you the belief that people with Down's syndrome are "Blessed by the Creator" to be born to live a happy life. Congratulations. She will be a joy to the whole family.

So sweet, God Bless her and her family. I became a grandma for the first time and Sophia was only 5 lbs. 9 oz.'s but perfect. She is so precious and is already developing her own personality. Yes definitely teach her to quilt, I hope to pass it on too.

Such a sweet addition to your family! Our only grand child was born with obstacles, too, she is now 16months old and a delight to everyone who meets her! She was named Ivy Mae. (My middle name is Mae and they honored me by naming her Mae)
