    Our Christmas Tree Skirt

Now that all the gifts have been given away, I can show you our new tree skirt that I made last month to go with our peacock theme. I used purple felt as a base and then used netting of four different colors and ruffled it as I sewed. I really like it because it is different.

That is gorgeous. That's just too pretty to put away. But I have to say a little something funny here, it's plain to see she doesn't have CATS...lolo I've seen some hilarious videos about cats and trees recently. I have 2 cats, but they've never bothered my trees.

We did have cats years ago, but they never bothered our tree. One of them just liked to lay under the tree, but that was it. I think we got lucky, from some of the stories I've heard.

That's what mine do, bury UNDER the tree skirt..lol I have a tree I set on a small table in the dining room too, and yep, they take turns laying on the skirt there too... I think they like the heat from the lights.. I've been lucky too with cats, wouldn't know how to act NOT having at least one around.

it's very different, I love the idea you used.
