I love greys......always wanted one, but always ended up with some poor unloved Heinz 57.... Now living with 2weims and 3 cats.....who have accepted the gray "elephants" and they in turn have accepted those furry little things, but it take some time at both ends........

i think the cats are finally beginning to venture out a little. I saw one streak by headed to my sewing/sun room yesterday and one was behind my DH's recliner last night. I'm not sure if it was the same cat both times. The one headed to the sewing room went by so fast I didn't get a good look at which one it was. They're both calicos.

Bless you for sharing your life with another Greyhound. They make great couch potato's and I hope the cats won't be a problem for a sighthound. I had a Grey, Jenny B, who lived in harmony with our cat as long as long as the cat didn't take off running, then the prey instinct kicked in but she didn't do that for long and they became fast friends.

So far, the cat and Buzz haven't seen each other. I'm surprised he didn't see the one the ran into the sewing room yesterday. They say he is cat friendly so we'll see. He hasn't shown much interest in the squirrels outside but they aren't in the house. I'll put his muzzle on him when I leave so there won't be any way for him to bite them. I'm not sure who's faster - the cats or Buzz. It might be a toss up. At least the cats can hide under the furniture.
