The problem was with the mouse....changed to a different mouse...problem solved. Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it.

Take your mouse apart and empty the dog hairs, cookie crumbs, etc....works for me.

This happens to me when I need to change the battery in the wireless mouse. I have also found buildup of gunk on the pads under the mouse that needs to be cleaned off.
