When I think of Australia I always think of kangaroos and koala bears, do you get to enjoy them? Would love to visit your country one day.Probably when I win the lottery. (IN MY DREAMS) HA!

No koala bears where we live, do get wallabies, kangaroos, possums (possums love eating my cumquats and loquats) and plenty of reptile and bird life. We have bilbies locally and some other smaller animals, but they are very shy and we have the dogs so that keeps them from making themselves known. Have to make a noise when visiting the woodshed as over the years we have had some snakes. Foxes are also a bit of a problem...they are considered a pest here as they decimate the wildlife and are not shy about raiding chook (chicken) pens. Foxes and rabbits are not naturally found here, but were introduced when the early settlers arrived.

I have 2 dogs, Max is my lab mix (in my avatar) and Zoey is a little white maltipoo. They are the best of friends and hilarious to watch play together.
