I am making a turtle pin cushion for Mum's stocking this year. I decided this is the year I am going to make a different pin cushion to add to her stocking for her sewing room. I have all the pieces cut and sewn, I just need to stuff it now. Once its completed, I'll take a photo

That daggone strap.....I didn't understand it but here is what I did I think anything is better than nothing...just make something close to a strap....:-)

triciasquilts
When I do anything that requires a strap, I cut my piece of fabric wide enough to press the edges in once and then fold and press together. Then I do a straight stitch down both sides. This eliminate having to turn them and they come out perfect. I will use spray starch when pressing to help hold before sewing. Hope this helps all with making them
triciaquilts suggested this and I think it is a fab idea....I'm gonna give it a try on my next one.....

GCathie, those are so wonderful. Thanks for the patterns. Someone, maybe you?, sent me a chicken from the Frenzy group and I love it. And your bag is so much nicer than the one I made with the rectangle cushion! Did you put non-skid on the back? I doubt it...probably didn't need it. Thanks again! Merry Christmas!
