How anything can survive in pine-sol was hard to wrap my head around. After reading the article (thank you for it!) the problem is with the aroma varieties and that explains a lot. I will stick with the harsh smelling original!

The original aroma variety is not included in the recall.

Me too, I use Pine-sol exclusively because its the only cleaner than doesn't cause my hands to itch and have hives. So I guess its the strong smelling original for me.

My husband's stepmom would be heartbroken. From the number of bottle of lemon Pinesol that he brought home from their house, I think she must have bathed in it as well as cleaning the house.

I don't use pinesol because it isn't safe for use around animals (kitties). But it is nice to pass on the information to people who do use it. Thanks.

Dang, I just bought a bottle of the lemon scent a couple of weeks ago because I don't like the original scent. I thought the lemon was worse so I wasn't going to use it anyway. Maybe I can get a refund.

If you click the link at the bottom of the article it shows how to get a refund from the manufacturer.
