Pinteresr asking for date of birth
Tried to view links posted here for Pinterest.
Was asked for date of birth - and then got those calendar pages like when wants to make a reservation.
The site dropped me when I got into the 1990s
what is up with this?
If the site wants that info so badly, at least make it easy to post it.

hmmm, I haven't had that happen to me. I am using a Windows 10 laptop computer. Kind of newish for me. I know there is a popup on pinterest wanting you to sign in. That can be closed just by clicking on the "X"

Yes, I have been saying "skip", but today it forced me to enter a date of birth.
I was on my phone, as I was at the store and wanted to look at a recipe to make sure I had all the ingredients. Entering was annoying. The months showing were March and April... My birthday is in June, but there was no way to go forward. After a minute, I realized I actually had to scroll BACKWARDS to get to June. And then scroll a LOT to get to 1960, lol.
The statement started with something about keeping younger users safe.

I always use a fake name/address/birth/phone for site registration. Why doe anyone feel they need to use their real info for this stuff? The email I use for all online things is a free Google one and I used all fake info when I signed up. Years ago Google and Facebook didn't ask for confirmation of anything. Maybe now it does.
