yes i have made some items...
check book cover,(god that was years ago)
xmas orniaments.
maginets with "joy" cut out and done.
hangings on ribbon with letters, joy, noel, peace...
all i can think of right now...

I use plastic canvas in the bottom of the purses I make, I put fabric over it and remove it when I wash the purse. Works pretty good.
I've also made the kleenex covers that fit the boutique kleenex boxes and I found a great book for making coasters that are all quilt blocks - those are my favorites! I've also made little Easter Bunny heads that hide Hershey kisses.
