5 years ago, I planted a Magnolia in my front yard. Every year, it inched along, getting a little taller, spreading a little, but not blooming. Finally, this year, it made one bloom; I was so excited. Then comes the drought. In spite of all watering, the heat won, and my poor little one bloom wonder is history.
