Do any of you get pop-up ads for a work at home site while you are logged in to the Quilding Board? I've been getting them for the past several weeks and it is really driving me batty. I have my pop-up blocker at the highest setting possible, but they still come. I would really like to know if it happens to anyone else.

I haven't been getting them on this site. I sometimes do when I'm on my homepage or when I go to a link from here. I know for me it is because I'm not very good at using my laptop and I drag my mouse over things and open them up when I don't mean to.

If you are seeing popups while browsing the board, your computer is infected with adware.

If you download and use Mozilla Firefox you can block all ads.

You need to run a virus check on your computer... get malware bytes, the free version works just as well as the pay for one...

    What browser do you use?

I hear you about Firefox. We have resisted updating to Explorer 7 due to rumored problems with that version. I'll pass along your recommendations about Firefox to my DH. I know that he has considered switching to that.

What do you do to get rid of adware? I've been getting the pop ups too!
I ran my malware program, and no bugs, etc, found.

I was having issues with internet,, and so I switched to mozilla and I am more than happy. The color, clarity and speed are improved greatly. But, I have never had any pop ups on this site,, sorry your having issues with that,,and can get annoying!!!!

I'm surprised, but I haven't had any problems...so far. My computer is old, and grumpy!

I keep getting one for this. It does not let me go to any of the message subjects. Is there a way to block this one?

    This one is EXTREMELY obnoxious
