I'm pinching RedKimba's idea as I really enjoyed that thread!

I had a fabulous day today. Nice relaxed morning with a bit of pottering on my latest quilt, then a trip to 'the Corn Mill' pub in Llangollen to celebrate our anniversary (belated due to illness) and had the most wonderful meal. Then did a short walk next to the canal in picture-perfect surroundings - blue sky, sunlight dappling through the trees and glinting off the water... Even sturdy workhorses giving horse-drawn boat rides along the canal.

It was one of those days where you just have absolute peace and all is right with the world.

Oh, beautiful photo, thank you for sharing and it sounds like it was a beautiful day. We've had a very uneventful day and I even got a little nap in. Now we're headed to the neighbors for a BBQ and "outdoor movie night". They had this last year too and it was fun so tonight should be great. I hope to see more positivity threads :)

A wonderful weekend surrounded by family, roof over our heads, food in our bellies, new memories for my kiddos of Grandma and Grandpa were made, We are all healthy and hubby has a job with income..
