Selling them, That's wishful thinking. I've got a long way to go, but even if I get there how do you put price on a labor of love?

I hear you! We shipped all handmade quilts, wooden treasure chests and wooden jewelry boxs to all the grandkids up north this Christmas and had to do it in many separate trips because we couldn't seem to get out for less than $65.00 with every shipment! Next year it's all small stuff!!

Becky Crafts I am so with you, except for b-days for the grandkids in Tx this year it's gonna be $$. The shipping was more costly than the gift inside last year. Frustrating to say the least.

I did a painting for a customer a few years ago.....had I only known it would cost $80.00 to ship it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) the longer story was I took it down to the shipping place and they told me $20.00. That was okay, sounds reasonable. Then when I got it done, tried to ship it, they said $80.00 --- and wouldn't back down!!!! Weather was bad, couldn't get to the nearest large town to go to another place...and he wanted it for his wife's birthday. Ironic that I ended up paying for his wife's gift!!!!!!!!! BTW - never used that shipping place again.
