I was >thisclose< to doing that in a certain fancy-schmancy high-falutin' sewing machine store a few months ago. DH had just gotten off work, and admittedly was a bit disheveled (sp?), but he had cash money in his pocket. He wanted to see what brands of sewing machines they carried, but the woman would barely give him the time of day.

Her loss! We bought a machine elsewhere. :-P

Back on topic, I love Pretty Woman too, except for when that Stuckey guy hits her (a man hitting a woman bothers me, even if it's in a movie). I loved it when he snaps the jewelry case closed and she jumps! Sometimes I wonder if that was planned, or if he did it as a joke and they just left it in the movie.

She was great in Erin Brockovich, too. :)

You an show me Richard Gere anyday. I still swoon (now there's a word) at the memory of him in "An Officer and a Gentleman". Gosh, what a romantic movie.
I brings back memories of my little (5'3") husb. in his Navy uniform. After 20 yrs. in the Navy, he always made my heart flutter at the sight of him in uniform.
Have you seen Richard Gere in the movie Chicago? What a hoot!

And what about RG in Shall we Dance? That was a good one. That's another one I watch every chance I get.
