I have never had any problems with ebay ink, guess my printer is too old to be fussy!!

Refilling them isn't a good idea. At least for my printer. Something about a bar code or some do-hickey. It reads the ink levels and when refilled this doesn't work properly.
I save money on my cartridges by turning 10 empties into Staples and get a 20 dollar reward check to purchase my next batch. This way $50.00 worth of ink costs $30.00 every few months.
