If you are a senior you will understand this one, if you deal with seniors, this should help you understand them a little better, and if you are not a senior yet........God willing, someday you will be...... The 2.99 Special We went to breakfast at a restaurant where the 'seniors' special' was two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for $2.99. 'Sounds good,' my wife said. 'But I don't want the eggs.' 'Then, I'll have to charge you $3.49 because you're ordering a la carte,' the waitress warned her. 'You mean I'd have to pay for not taking the eggs?' my wife asked incredulously. 'YES!' stated the waitress. 'I'll take the special then,' my wife said.. 'How do you want your eggs?' the waitress asked. 'Raw and in the shell,' my wife replied. She took the two eggs home and baked a cake. DON'T MESS WITH SENIORS!!! WE'VE been around the block more than once! Send this to the Seniors in your life. I'm sure they'll appreciate it! Even non-seniors will appreciate it! |

My son, 33, spent a lot of time around seniors growing up, and that sounds like something he would do! Poor kid had to spend waaaaayyyy too much time around old people!

I have an uncle that knows all of the senior cheap meal spots. I remember him wanting to go out to dinner with us and told us to meet him at Golden Corral at 3:30 pm (for dinner) we did and there was a LINE of seniors! When get in and seated all of the seniors are sitting and drinking coffee and no one was going up to the buffet. I asked my uncle what was going on and he said come at 3:30 and get senior lunch price but they start putting steak on the buffet at 4 pm lol and like clock work at 4 pm everyone got up and went to the buffet lol |

I know of a lady who likes to drink hot water (instead of tea or coffee) with her meal. In a restaurant, she got the water and her DH got tea. When she saw they had both been charged the same price, she demanded and got a tea bag. She took it home.

I went to a small hot dog stand to get a hot dog with no fries and argued with the girl that I wanted no fries but still had to charge the full amount.Is it too hard to adjust the menu or take $1. off for no fries.No she said because it's cheaper to throw the fries out.Never went there again.....

Not in a good mood one day to begin with, I pull up to a drive through burger place, and order a burger and fries. I'm told it's cheaper to order the "meal", which of course includes the drink. So I order a meal. Girl asks me what I want to drink...I tell her nothing. She says she can't give me a meal unless she gives me a drink. I tell her to give me just the burger and fries, she says she can't...so, I tell her give me a cola. She hands me the glass, I remove the lid, pour the drink out the window and hand her back the glass. Wasteful, yes...did I feel better afterwords, YES! Silly restaurants.

My Uncle, used to order slices of lemon for his salad....then squeeze them into his water and add sugar.... I told him, I would be happy to order him some lemonade...he claims that his tastes better...because it's free. :( I don't take him to restaurants anymore. |
