Re: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-47203-1.htm
This thread got me thinking about the search screen. So I added some of the proposed features under the "advanced options" link near the search button. If you specify "topic's author", then only threads started by that person will be listed. But you need to make sure to spell the user name exactly as it's listed on the account. It's not like with user search, where you can enter just a part of the user name. If the user name you entered cannot be found, then it gets discarded and the search proceeds as if no user name was specified. Also, you can limit the results to just specific sections of the board. You can select more than one section. If you select the "Sort to show most recent topics first" then you'll get the same list of topics, but they will be sorted by the time they were created instead of keyword relevance. That might help if you know that the topic you are looking for was created just a few days ago. I haven't really tested the new features, so please let me know if something isn't working right. |
Thank you Admin :D:D:D

Cool!!

AWESOME! :)
I tested by putting in 9 patch and then crazy quilt by pictures. It'll work great when you know you saw a 9 patch (or some block) that you loved and couldn't remember where you seen it! Thanks |
I like it!
I searched for "log cabin" and selected several different areas to search. Worked like a charm. It didn't bring up swaps or things I didn't ask for. Thanks |
I just tried it and it works! Thank you admin!
