My thoughts are with you and yours! My brother left for afghanastan in April, so I understand your pain! You will be in my thoughts and prayers until he arrives home safely!! :-(

Why not start a quilt to keep you busy..maybe a block a week? You could have the kids make a scrap book of their lives while he's gone, if they are old enough. Take photos of different activities, a day at the park, if they are in little league games, or just riding their bike, mowing the lawn whatever they are doing while he's gone. Then when he comes home present it to him. Thanks to both of you for the sacrafice you are enduring with him being gone. You are such a beautiful couple!! Sending prayers for a safe tour for him and strength to you and your family to help the days go by faster til his return. My nephew is due to go over again for his 4th tour in Dec. I think it is so unfair they always take him away right before the holidays!! He leaves a wife and 3 little ones at home while he's gone. crafty_linda_b
