thanks to him for his service and to your family for the sacrifice of getting along without him.
Thank you both for his service to our county!
Pray for safe stay and a really big homecoming in 200 days.
My God Bless you and your family. |

God bless you all! DH is a vet.
May God provide a hedge of protection around your entire family. Thank you both.
Thank you for sharing this difficult time. Your and your husbands service is greatly appreciated. It's because of people like him, that puts meaning in freedom.
(Maybe you could start a "countdown" thread so that 'us quilters' can help with some moral support and prayers.) |
All of you are so brave.
Know that we pray nightly for those in harm's way. |
Thanks to your family for what you are doing for all of us. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless you and our family, it's been 3 years since my Son went and came home and I still feel that pain and worry when I see yet another leave. Tell your husband to stay safe his job is to protect and come home safely to his family.
Thank you for your sacrifice. Hopefully 200 days will go fast. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
Prayers for his safe return and that the time goes quickly for you all! Thank him for his service and all of you for the sacrifice.

sorry you feel so sad...being a military dep. ALL Of my life, we were taught at an early age that Daddy going away was a GOOD thing...because daddy was going to make being HERE a much better place!
Now a days, with DH retired, I MISS those days...I would sell the dogs if only Dh would go on a 6 month deployment! I need some ME time in MY house..heheheh Hope the time flies quickly and that you can find the Happiness in what he is doing for his family and for his country! |
Wishing you and your husband (and your families) safety, courage, and good health.
Sometimes it's almost as challenging to be the one(s) left behind - - - |
You all are in my thoughts and prayers. We are here for you!
Will pray for him and his buddies. A big thank you for protecting us, thanks to you for sharing
Gosh. I"m so sorry. Luckily you have us here for ya.
As usual I have tears in my eyes. I cannot see a soldier in uniform without crying. Not sure why. My husband was in the National Guards for 14 years, spent 2 separate months in Germany for training with 3 young kids at home. He never saw war. My brother is in the Army since 1973 and served several tours of duty over the years. I love parades because of the men and women in uniform marching. I think I am sad and happy at the same time as I have such a huge personal pride in what they do for us.
Please thank your husband for the honorable act of courage and dedication he does for all of us! May God Bless you and your family always! |
My prayers (and gratitude) go with you all!! May safety surround him until he's home again.
Adding my thoughts and prayers for a safe return! When I was first married (44 years ago!) my husband was on a submarine. I can still remember the ache every time he left. May those 200 days race by quickly!
A huge thank you on behalf of myself and my family. It's because of men like yours and their families that we enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we have today. May he come safely home to you in 198 days.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Our prayers are with you! |
Thanks to your husband, you and your children for the sacrifices you make on behalf of America.

I will not find happiness in him being away from our family...how can i find happiness when a grown man cries bc he has to leave his family. I am honored to be a military wife and proud that my husband takes what comes and sacrifices unlike some who try to avoid it at all cost. So daddy is away and we will miss him and wait for his return and then we will be happy bc he we will be coming home. |
Many prayers for you and your husband ! God bless you both for your service to our country !!
So sorry, sweetie. Been there. Just not for that long. Six months is the longest my DH was gone at one stretch. I am praying for your sanity and his safety!
