Wanted to post so i could giggle at Rainy Day for being the first to say my Gila kitty was going to have 7 babies....

Over the first 24 hours, she had 4...
#5 didnt make it out alive :(
# 6 and #7 are in the drawer with mommy and the rest....

and Gila is working on popping out at least 1 more now :| That makes at least 8....
i was hoping for 4.. we have 4 already spoken for.. this many gives my girls 1 more reason to beg to keep 1 a piece... we already have as many cats as people living here lol

I am now considering changing Gilas name to OctoKitty

as soon as shes completely done, i will post pics :D :lol:

hahahaahaha - that cat needs a TV interview and lots of cosmetic work if she is to be a real octomum. Can I bet on the gender of the cats now?

Can't wait for the pictures. Smokey, our cat, when I was growing up regularly had 7 kittens, one for each of us kids to hold! With one of the litters, my three year old brother came running into the kitchen yelling "Mokey's fallin apart!"

Congrats. Not to be a nag, but I hope you get her spayed/neutered after this (I can never remember which word is for which gender). I know our local animal control does it for a very reasonable cost.
