My daughter bought me kindle fire hd. I had the touch. If you are considering buying one spend the extra and get the fire. It is AMAZING. I am so happy. Great to know about tbe customer service. Ive not had a problem.I usually only use the free. Then if its a series I buy the rest. Love it.

If mine broke today, I would buy another one today! I absolutely love the Kindle. I was never a reader until my DH bought me the kindle with the keyboard at the bottom and I now read daily. Love the font capabilities. Have had it about 3-4 years and have had only one problem with the power switch sticking in the outward position which went away after a few days. I bought DH the fire last Christmas which he really likes.
