Very, very old news and does not in any way change how much I enjoy her books. I am currently reading this year's Christmas one.

I also enjoy her books. I read a lot of mysteries & will have to look for more of hers at the library. Maybe they will have some of the newer ones.

I have read many but find them now to be less interesting because they have fallen into form books. On the other hand the World War I series is marvelous. I have listened to it on CD several times. Interesting characters and a time that seems to have faded into the background under the shadow of WW II. I still recommend her for mystery lovers.

I don't want my money going to the pockets of someone that committed a brutal murder and then says hey that's old news, get over it and buy my stuff.
