Yes, I did know that. But I, too, love her books - "Monk" books are my favorite.

This is old news. Not sure why it is being rehashed. Guess the macabre is always of interest to someone.

I used to like her books, but I got more and more irritated that one or more of her characters would judge someone by their appearance -- like saying someone had a strong, honest jawline or that someone had a wide forehead and small nose so they must be evil -- got tired of that. Wonder if she really believes physiogamy is destiny.

I have known about this for quite sometime. She was young, she served her time, and I think sensationalists just need to let her and the other woman be. I notice the new book has her name in the title because she is famous and the other woman isn't. I love her Monk series.
