Been there, done that. The youngest didn't leave home until I was well in my 60's and due to the bad economics we've had 2 of our 5 move back for a few years between careers before moving out again. We had 2 parents move in for care taking until they died during all this. We've finally? maybe are at last empty nesters this year. I'm 70 DH is 72. Never did get around to traveling like we thought we wanted to do and now the urge has left us. Peace and quiet seems very nice,
