I have a garden planted with Spinach, 3 kinds of lettuce, cukes, carrots, 5 tomato plants (Roma, Yellow Pear, Beefsteak, and soon to add #6 - an 'Ace 55' - have no clue what that one is - my husband got that one, and finally potatoes. I'm going to have to cook/freeze some of the spinach - too much even after giving some away already!

Oh yes got garden in and plants are going crazy got cukes,tomatoes,peppers,corn, green beans now if hubby can keep that groundhog out of the greenbeans iy will be a good harvest.Oh i can't hardly wait until we get corn in i love,love home-made creme style corn for supper and serve corn bread,bacon fresh garden tomatoes guess i better quit for now i'm hungry(:)

Oh, what a good idea to grow your acorn squashes in the topsy-turvey! I've tried for a couple of years to grow cherry tomatoes in mine, but we just don't have enough heat and sun so I took a pass this year. But, I had too many acorn squash babies for my garden and set some free by planting them in the edges of the bushes.

My garden is pure utility. Cabbages, brussels sprouts, broccoli, carrots, beets, zucchini, acorn squash. The rhubarb patch and strawberries look after themselves and my asparagus is finally becoming established. This year I ventured into celery! Lettuce, spinach and swiss chard make me crazy, we can't eat it fast enough!

My herbs are closer to the door but basil never does well. Oregano, parsley, thyme and chives all thrive. I'm thinking of letting the mints take over, if they choke out the weeds that is.

The garden has only been planted for two weeks now, but the seeds are poking up and the babies have doubled in size. We have a short but vigorous growing season.

I have a few 4x8 raised beds. Some heritage tomatoes, filet green beans, squash, onions, dill, rosemary, oregano, thyme, sage, basil, eggplant and four kinds of peppers. I am severly handicapped but have chairs by everybed and manage. Use to garden big time. Can't resist growing something.

I have a small one growing this year...3 different kinds of Tomato, cherry, regular and a new seedless kind. Zuccinni are just starting to crawl up the rose trellis (rose bush died)green beans have flowers, we have been harvestiing the lettace for a couple of weeks already, my swiss chard is getting close to ready. Unfortunately, the broccoli must be mighty tasty to the rabbits...mine don't have any leaves left. My son decided to fix the bunny. He surrounded the broccoli plants with mouse traps, so that if they try to reach around them they will set off and scare the bunny :lol: , you should see it... :lol: 6 mouse traps around each plant...

we just have a few tomato plants, and abundance of wild bluberries and blackberries. oh the pies we will have this year. The deer and turkeys forage all around us. Irish spring doesn't help here. I figure they were here first. but we have some wonderful local stands to buy from.

OK - "Wind" was the other way! ROFL!

Our garden is growing like crazy too. I have tomatoes, peppers, onions, potatoes, cukes, squash, green beans, carrots, radishes and lettuce. The strawberries are just beginning to ripen, so I'll be making some strawberry rhubarb pies next week. The deer are thick around our area so we have an electric fence around the garden, seems to do the trick. Now if I could just keep the weeds out!

Wow, youre all so productive! Its nice that even some with small yards havea pot or two of fresh veggies, or even a topsy turvy! I want to try one of those...they look neat!
My garden looks good now, if I can keep up on the weeding. Bunnies ate ALL of my pea plants though, the greedy buggers!
