This is just terrible, I have a dear friend in Victoria, her name is Melina Niest, in case anyone knows her. She doesn't do the computer but I will email her hubby to see if I can get a reply.

Vanuatu Jill - maybe the reason you have not heard from your friends that you have written to in Queensland is that your letters are probably lost and didn't get to their destination, I was speaking to a lady in a Queensland business on Friday and she told me that they have not had any mail for 3 weeks as Queensland lost about 70 post offices and 3 post office clearing centres.

Thanks for that info-I have contacted a friend in Vanuatu to see if she could get any info-we have also been watching the cyclone brewing and it does look huge-lets hope it looses strength when it hits land!!

I'm in Queensland but in the south so not affected by the oncoming cyclone, which this morning was upgraded to a category 5! My prayers go out for all those in the affected area
