I agree...we go 3 times a week for maintence.....but sitting up straight, stretching before you start working....get up every hr. to walk around and stretch again...and don't over reach to get something you need.

L4-L5 herniated and crushing cord...yes, I do have problems sitting for long periods..luckily I moved my ironing station so I have to keep getting up and down!

I have had that problem with my back. I used to work as a nursing aid and that is hard work for your back. Now when I hurt through my shoulders and upper back I will go lay on the floor and hear my bones crack. I lay for about five min. or so and then I do feel better. It will hurt when I first lay down but feels so much better later.

I was diagnosed with a significant case of arthritus of the spine in 1986 and with degenerative disc disease in 1989. both ailments are painful, but that does not mean that I will give up.

I also forgot to say that back in the late 40's early 50' polio came around. My brother and I got it in our backs. NO damage. My brother is 67 and still lays brick. I do get tired in my back very easy but thank the good Lord that is all.
