Welcome Baby Alex and Congratulations to Melanie and Sasha.
Good luck and hopefully you will be able to tell when he is hungry or needs to burb, usually a loud cry means needs to burb.

As the expresion goes let sleeping dogs ly & babies too. Baby Doc said no baby will starve quietly. He'll let you know when he's hungry, Hope he burps good for you. One of mine had to be patted forever to burp.

What a handsome little guy! Enjoy him.

By no means should you wake a sleeping baby!! He will let you know when he needs to eat. (My first never got enough, and was awake in 30 minutes...) You need to rest while he does.

Congratulations!

I second that opinion. If a baby is healthy, it will wake up to eat.

This board has 14,000 members. I'll bet at least 13,000 have baby experience, so we can overrule the doctors! :D
