And to think it used to be a fuzzy creepy thing crawling on a tree trunk. It is truly amazing.

Yes it is :-) I love love the smell of lilacs so this one is actually planted outside of my sewing room (well my old sewing room now) window....now I get to smell it when I leave the house or come home lol

Thank you all again for your kind words..I love this picture and actually am having it printed and am going to frame it this weekend.

Is that a Tiger Swallowtail? It's a gorgeous picture! They always fly away when I try to take a pic! lol!

Yes it is :-) Thank you. I thought for sure it would fly away when I got so close but it didn't...she just sat there and posed for me :-)

Thank you very much and I would not mind at all if you make a block from it :-) I love butterflies and try to catch good pictures when I can...photography is another love of mine aside from quilting.
